2024 Spring Coaches Clinic

We are excited to announce an upcoming Field Hockey Coaches Clinic on Tuesday, March 12th. The clinic is offered to all Field Hockey coaches in Louisville, and is designed to enhance coaching skills and strategies.

This clinic is designed for field hockey coaches at any level – whether you are a volunteer parent or a seasoned veteran.

The session will cover Field Hockey Coaching 101. Please see the agenda below for what to expect:

• 5:30 pm: Registration Opens
• 6 pm: Clinic Begins – Field Hockey Rules Overview with Rachel Walz Blackman
• 6:30 pm: Coaches Stations
  • How to teach hits & push passes
  • Positioning & setting a line-up
  • Offensive & defensive corners
  • Gearing up a goalie

Coaches Packets will also be available for $25. Packet will include line ups, corners for offense and defense, 6 offensive drills and 6 defensive drills.
