Code of Conduct & Expectations of Behavior

The Stealth Field Hockey Code of Conduct/Expectations of Behavior is in place for; coaches, athletes, and spectators. These should be promoted and adopted by everyone within the Stealth Community.

Code of Conduct – Coaches
Coaches play a critical role in the personal and athletic development of their athletes. Therefore, coaches are expected to at all times to lead by example prioritizing the safety of the athletes, creating a positive environment for fair and competitive play, and promoting respectful relationships between the athletes, spectators, and officials.

It is the expectation that all Coaching Staff provide fair and consistent treatment for all athletes, officials, and spectators. Coaches are further expected to provide all parties with the information necessary to be adequately prepared to make informed and timely decisions in regards to the athletes participation and well being in all Stealth Field Hockey Events.

Coaches are expected to maintain the highest standards of credentials.

Code of Conduct – Athletes
All athletes participating in Stealth Field Hockey programs are expected to represent themselves, their families, and the Stealth community with honesty, integrity and good sportsmanship, whether it be academically, athletically or socially.

It is the responsibility of the player to refrain from any unsportsmanlike behaviors. Fighting, harassment, and bullying on and off the pitch. Failure to adhere to the code of conduct will result in review of the athlete’s eligibility to continue playing.

All feedback, concerns, and/or issues should be directed to the athlete’s coach, by the athlete. The Stealth Field Hockey Coaching Staff encourages open and direct communication.

Code of Conduct – Spectators
Parents, guardians, friends and family attending as spectators are an important part of the game and support of the athlete. As such, Stealth Field Hockey expects that all parents, guardians, friends and family of the athlete will promote a community of respect and good sportsmanship.

Spectators should at all times respect officials, visiting coaches, players, regardless of their own team loyalty. Interference by a parent, or any individual trying to impede the mission or structure of Stealth Field Hockey, will not be tolerated. The Stealth Field Hockey Coaching Staff will review appropriate repercussions for aforementioned misconduct by spectators including but not limited to a direct impact on the athlete’s future playing time.
